Experience

She started her teaching career at La Sierra University where she taught Freshman English Composition, College Writing, and ESL. She has also tutored students in various topics such as ESL, SAT preparation, and English at numerous tutoring centers in California. After teaching for over 6 years, she worked at a law school directing the Academic Affairs program, working hand-in-hand with the Dean to make sure the campus ran to its best abilities. Aside from her experience in Academic Affairs, she has provided contract work for a university as their Associate Professor of English, Professional Development Coordinator, Writing Specialist, and member of their Performance Assessment Committee. She previously worked for Futures Academy on two different campuses for five years, with her last role being the Campus Director at Futures Academy in Woodland Hills, CA.
