Dr. Alison Datoc, a clinical neuropsychologist at Horizon Neuro, will be giving an in-person presentation on concussion education and prevention as it pertains to our pre-teens and teens. Come for some great information and stay for any specific questions! Snacks and beverages will be provided.

Dr. Alison Datoc is a Clinical Neuropsychologist with subspecialty training in concussion treatment and management. She earned her doctoral degree from Nova Southeastern University in Clinical Psychology and completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Sports Neuropsychology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Children’s Health Andrews Institute. She has worked with thousands of patients with concussions immediately after their injury on the sidelines of sporting events and within days to weeks of their injury in the office. She has provided baseline and sideline concussion evaluations for NFL, NHL, AHL, US Figure Skating, MLS Next Pro, and high school football athletes, and has several published peer-reviewed articles on concussion and later-in-life brain health in athletes. Dr. Datoc is not only passionate about guiding patients and their families through the concussion recovery process but also improving the quality of life for those with neurodevelopmental, neurological, psychiatric, and neurodegenerative conditions.
