Education
Allison Axelrod earned her B.A. in English Literature from the University of Pennsylvania with a minor in Women's Studies. She went on to earn an Ed.M. from Harvard Graduate School of Education with a concentration in Human Development and Psychology.
Experience
Allison has lived in Philadelphia, New York City, Boston, and San Francisco, and has worked in various leadership roles for documentary film companies, schools, arts-in- education nonprofits, and community centers. In 2011 she went on to pursue a Masters in Education with a concentration in Human Development and Psychology and adopted a child-centered focus in which each student can be nurtured towards their potential. Since then she has brought her skills as a teacher, coach and school leader to South Florida and towards helping to open and establish Fusion Palm Beach Gardens. She is thrilled to continue bringing Fusion's model to the Palm Beach Gardens community.
Fun Facts and Hobbies
- Was trained as a Yoga Teacher in the foothills of Himalayas - Dharmasala, India - ask me about the monkeys and the monks ;)
- Worked on a Documentary film about Hannah Senesh - a paratrooper in WW2
- An avid cook and cooking enthusiast
