Education

Lauren DePriest graduated from Texas A&M- Corpus Christi with a Bachelor's Degree in English, and a Minor in Journalism. She has a Texas teaching certificate and has completed the User Experience Design (UX/UI) Program at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

Experience

Lauren has worked with students and children since the age of 14. She was a lifeguard and Swim Lessons Instructor/Manager for over ten years and developed several swimming courses for children with physical and learning difficulties.
Lauren worked with the Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities (PPCD) in the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD and then taught English in South Korea for two years. She joined Fusion Academy Southlake in 2016 as a Humanities teacher and before joining the People Development team at HomeBase, designing teacher training and onboarding. As of 2022, she has joined the staff of Fusion- San Mateo as a campus director and looks forward to life in California!
